About the Faculty: Bill Clawson, Ph.D., has been a professional educator, lecturer, author and consultant since 1983. He is the founder of Quest for Excellence™. Actively practicing in health care for over 25 years, Bill has an extensive clinical background as a registered nurse practitioner in critical care and elder care, along with a wealth of administrative experience in medical staff development and health care administration. He currently serves on numerous California State and local boards and committees dedicated to excellence in long term care. When he’s not speaking, writing, or consulting, you can find him in the dog show ring with his Irish Wolfhound. We are honored to share that Dr. Clawson has been selected for publication in the 2002-2003 edition of National Register’s "Who’s Who in Executives and Professionals." During his final interview, he was asked, "Why this breed?" He readily responded: "Although they are an ancient breed dating back well before 300 BC, they were rescued from the brink of extinction in 1862 by one man who cared, British Army Captain G.A. Graham. To me they symbolize that, as long as one person cares, there is always hope." In addition to Bill's reputation for promoting continuous personal and professional growth toward excellence, a trademark of his speaking style is education through entertainment. Chuck Frady has been a professional speaker, author and consultant for nearly 30 years. He is the Co-Founder and Vice-President of Quest for Excellence™. Chuck has a clinical background as a Medical Technologist. He also has an extensive background as a Director in Marketing and Customer Service since 1977. As a professional speaker, Chuck shared his expertise in developing and directing the Speakers Bureau Training Program for AIDS Project Los Angeles from 1987 - 1988, and also at the San Francisco AIDS Foundation from 1993 - 1995. Because of his love of travel, Chuck has also been a Self-employed Tour Director, and Meeting and Events Planner from 1997 to the present.
